SRM-MDM Catalog - From a NON-SAP application

Hi gurus,

I need to use the SRM-MDM Catalog to access via URLs from a NON-SAP application. Could anyone tell me how to do this?. Cause all documentation I can find is about use from SAP-SRM or ECC. But my requirement is consume from a BPM system.
