SRM-MDM Catalog fails giving a "Page not found or not available error"

Hi SRM Gurus,

 

We are in SRM7.0 and using SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0 within Netweaver Portal 7.0. We have a Producer SRM Portal federated to a Main Netweaver Consumer Portal.

 

1) When we are trying to select an material in SRM-MDM Product Catalog and adding it to Shopping cart via the SRM Portal (Producer), it fails intermittently giving a "Page not found or not available" for Launchpad Start URL. We have already checked up SAP Note 1260119 and given "Everyone" group to the Launchpad Start URL iview under Common parts ERP-iView.

 

When I look into the URL address properties for the failed shopping cart , i get the following:

 

http://xxx.xxxx.com:1111/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.srm.srm70/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_core/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_roles/com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_purchasingassistant/fl_purchasing/fl_overview/com.sap.pct.srm.core.ws_purchasing/fl_create_documents/com.sap.pct.srm.core.iv_create_sc&CurrentWindowId=WID1246910622134&NavMode=3

 

When I get the material transfer to the shopping cart successfully, I notice the URL properties is

 

http://xxx.xxxx.com:1111/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.srm.srm70/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_core/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_roles/com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_purchasingassistant/fl_purchasing/fl_overview/com.sap.pct.srm.core.ws_purchasing/fl_create_documents/com.sap.pct.srm.core.iv_create_sc&NavMode=3&UsePost=True&SAPSRM_RESUME_ID=SAPSRM_OCI

 

The two differences that I notice here :

 

- When it fails within the URL, NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content..and when it works NavigationTarget=pcd:portal_content

- When it fails, at the end of the URL I have CurrentWindowId=WID1246910622134&NavMode=3..and when it works, it has SAPSRM_RESUME_ID=SAPSRM_OCI

 

Why is it failing intermittently..Is there any configuration settings in the Portal or backend SAP SRM that we have missed.

 

2) The shopping cart integration with the SRM-MDM Catalog totally fails within the federated Consumer Portal giving a "Page not found or not available" all the time. When I check up this URL, it gives me the following

Here, it is taking me via the Consumer portal to the default-framework page and then via NavigationTarget, it takes me to the producer Portal (NavigationTarget==gp:kjs_portal/) and fails although it is taking me to the right Purchasing Assistant role within SRM7.0 PCD folders.

 

Is there any configuration missing in the federation for this to fail.

As an administrator or head of department I would like to monitor the shopping carts created by others.  Please suggest how to achieve this

Hi guys,

 

When i try to enter the shopping cart through portal: Employee Self-Services ==> Shop. I am amble to see the iView with the first step to shop. But when i click on "next step" or "Describe your request/demand" i get the next dump:

It seems like there is something wrong with the Web Dynpro Abap application. Could it be some wrong customizing ?

 

I'm on SRM 7.0 SP 3, we will upgrade to SP6. I hope it will help.

MDM catalog with ECC

Hi,

Can I use Standard SRM MDM catalog content with ECC?

We dont have SRM in landscape.

Also can I replicate ECC data to MDM for catalog?What are the transaction for same, MDMGX and MDM_CLNT_EXTR?

 

Also can I use the same portal content for ECC or do we have to customize?

SRM MDM OCI Custom Fields

Hi,

 

   SAP suppports five custom fields in OCI mapping. We have a requirement to transfer more than five custom fields from MDM catalog to SRM shopping cart. Does SAP support adding additional custom fields? If not, what are some alternatives available?

Email Alert on Events WF_APPR_LATEST_END & WF_APPR_REQUESTED_END

Hi Gurus,

 

I am using SRM 7.02 process controlled workflow.

I have configured deadline monitoring for confirmation

 

 

Now notification emails are getting triggered for Approval and Rejection cases in transaction SOST.

However in case of Events WF_APPR_LATEST_END & WF_APPR_REQUESTED_END , emails are not getting generated in SOST.

 

I have deactivated BADIs BBP_ALERTING and BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF ; however still the notifications are not getting generated for these two events.

 

Am i missing anything here?

I have created a PR in ECC with a material and an outline with free text service (SOurcing cockpit)

then i created a po through SOCO in SRM

For Materials PO is created in SRM but for services PO is being created in ECC

Is there any customizing with respective to product type??

Please clarify...

We are using SAP SRM 7.01... Can anyone tell me the configuration settings for Process Controlled workflows...

 

and please clarify that earlier we used to activate workflows in application controlled workflows... in the same way do we need to activate anything here in process controlled workflow??? and what is the use of BRF??

MDM catalog integration with SRM 7.0

Hi all,

 

We will be upgrading from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0

 

We currently have CCM .....Few questins on catalog enablement for us with SRM 7:

 

1.With SRM 7,0,can we use CCM oor MDM is the only option???

 

2.Is it better to have MDM as a seperate server and enable SRM MDM catalog content?

 

3.We have 2 punch out catalogs for 2 vendors.How to enable the punch out catalog links in SRM 7.0???What is the path for IMG config??

 

4. We have around 20 internal supplier catalogs .Now should we upload few of the supplier catalogs and then upload rest or can we upload all the suuplier catalogs at once through IMPORT MANAGER in MDM ???What are therestrictions in terms of the no of catalogs or catalog data that can be improted and mapped ???

 

5.What are additional features in SRM MDM 3.0 catalog  in contrast to CCM??

 

6.The backend master data such as Supplier/Porg etc.....how is that synchronised from SRM to SRM MDM catalog???Is it through some scheduled programs???

SRM System upgrade from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.01

Hello SRM Gurus,

I am working on a upgrade project from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.01 ( EHP 1). Its a classic scenario and basically a Technical Upgrade.

I would like to know from people who have done  upgrade earlier of the same from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.01.

Functional Perspective - 1. What additional configurations will be required in SRM 7.01 apart from basic configurations which would be more or less same as those of SRM 5.0.

2. What steps would be required for Enterprise Portal / POWL integration with SRM 7.01.

3. What steps required for PI integration.

Technical Perspective -

1. Which Badis , Function module , Programs are obselete now in SRM 7.01 .

2. Do we require some technical adjustments for Enterprise Portal , PI integration.

3. Since BRF is new workflow in SRM 7.01 , so how do we shift from existing application workflow to Process workflow ( BRF ) . Whetther is it mandatory to adopt BRF ? or can we still work with traditional application workflow because there are some z developments done for this.

Please let me know the above details and also if i have missed some important points.

No address found for partner function type : 0002 and 0013

Hi Experts,

 

I have SRM PO and it is partially confirmed ,requester and Goods receipant has left the organisation, now another user trying to post the confirmation, getting the error :

No address found for partner function type : 0002

No address found for partner function type : 0013

We understood that requester and Goods receipant  has left the organisation and this user is not there in organisation structure, hence we are getting the error.

Now we are trying to amend requester and goods receipant  in the PO with new user(alreday there in the Orgn structure) but system is not allowing to do the same.

How can i post the confirmation now?? is ther any way to post the confirmation without amending the PO ?

SRM Cost center list from User profile

Hello Everyone,

 

We are on upgraded SRM 7.0. In earlier version SRM 5.0 business used the functionality where they assign list of cost center to user attribute in PPOMA_BBP and user will see all those cost center when they are creating shopping cart.

 

In SRM 7.0 i have assigned similar cost center list into user but user is not able to see the list in Portal.

 

Business do not like to have RFC call made to ECC system and fetch all the cost center.


Could you please advise if there is some way.

What is the standard SRM 7.0 Approved Shopping Cart Functionality?

Hello,

 

I am currently looking to see what the standard SRM 7.0 functionality is for shopping carts which are in "Approved" status.  Once the cart has been completely approved, if the end user would like to edit the cart, what are his/her options?  I have tried to test this in our QA system but want to confirm that the functionality that we have set up is the standard one.  From what I saw when testing the "Edit" of a cart is that the line items had almost all of the fields grayed out and I could not add a line, but I was able to delete a line item and "Save" the shopping cart.  Once the cart was saved, the change converted over to the Purchase Order as well.  I would just like to confirm that this is how the standard SRM system works.

HOOK_URL in punch-out catalogue

Hi all,

 

I try to make a connection with a punch-out catalog but can't get it to work propperly.

 

The suplier says the HOOK_URL has to be maintained by a url provided by us, but when I read the documentation the HOOK_URL isn't mandatory and is filled automaticly.

 

Is it possible that the HOOK_URL has to be filled and how do I get the wright url?

catalog items not transferred to shopping cart

Hi experts,

 

we are running SRM MDM 7.01 and SRM 7.1 for the shopping cart scenario.

 

Some users tried to do the following:

-add items to shopping cart from MDM catalog successfully

-save and close SC

-reopen the SC and transfer new positions from catalog

 

but new items were not added to shopping cart. we tried to reproduce the case logging in with the same users from different PCs, and the issue seems independent from user (the same user succeeded with a pc and failed with others).

So we searched for SAP notes, where some security settings are suggested for IE7/IE8, but we were not able to solve the issue, even with the recommended settings.

 

Do you have any suggestion?

How to customize purchase order smartform BBP_PO in SAP SRM 7.0?

Hi friends,

 

I am new to SAP, as well as to SRM world. Currently I have a object with me from purchase order smartform in SRM. My job is to copy the standard PO form named BBP_PO into "Z" form and to make customizations in the copied one. I don't have idea about how to proceed with it. Please give me some idea about required processing classes, methods, BADI's, FM's etc,.. Can anyone please tell me how to do this job? I am a fresher so if you help me in this means, it would be very helpful for me and for my future.
